eHealth

What is eHealth?

eHealth is a system that allows the health assessments of visa applicants to be processed on-line. Indonesian passport-holders applying for student visas through the eVisa system can choose eHealth for the processing of their health assessment.

How does it work?

With eHealth, you or your agent can complete your health declaration online (instead of using the paper Form 26 and/or 160) and the medical and radiology panel doctor can complete the health examination (including uploading a digital x-ray and a biometric photo) online. Once the panel doctor or radiologist submits this information, it is transferred instantly to the Department of Immigration and Citizenship’s Health Operations Centre in Sydney, Australia, for processing. Most results are then assessed by the Health Operations Centre within 48 hours. Generally, hard copies of your results do not need to be couriered to us.

What are the benefits?

Using online health processing as part of lodging your eVisa application means that it will take significantly less time to process your health assessment.
