The Prime Minister meets with President Yudhoyono at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on 2 November.
The Prime Minister of Australia, The Hon Julia Gillard MP, visited Indonesia 1-2 November 2010 and met with the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. The extensive bilateral talks were aimed at strengthening the Australia-Indonesia partnership.
Foreign and Trade Minister visit to Indonesia

Foreign and Trade Minister, Stephen Smith, visited Indonesia on Wednesday 14 July and Thursday 15 July 2010. During the visit, Minister Smith met with Indonesian Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa and Indonesia's Minister for Trade, Dr Pangestu.

Indonesia's President Yudhoyono visited Australia on 9-11 March 2010 where he made an historic address to the Australian Parliament and issued a Joint Statement with Prime Minister Rudd agreeing to upgrade the relationship to a comprehensive strategic partnership.
Indonesian and Australian Foreign Ministers Dr Marty Natalegawa and Mr Stephen Smith signed an Implementation Framework for Cooperation to Combat People Smuggling and Trafficking in Persons and reaffirmed a commitment to deepening people-to-people links.
Trade Ministers Dr Mari Pangestu and Mr Simon Crean agreed to explore ways to realise the potential of the economic relationship.
Australia and Indonesia: Partners in a New Era
The strength and warmth of the Australia-Indonesia relationship were clearly on show at a major conference in Sydney from 19 to 21 February 2009. (more information...)
